Creating Felt Landscapes (SOLD OUT)

  • Apr 29

    Starts: April 29, 2023 @ 10:00 am

    Ends: April 29, 2023 @ 4:00 pm

Place: Bragg Creek Community Centre, 23 White Ave, Bragg Creek, AB T0L 0K0

Join Bragg Creek Artisan Fay Hodson and learn to use coloured wool fibres and other bits to create unique wet-felted landscapes that can become wall art or be incorporated into clothing, pillows, etc.

You’ll start with making a “sampler” to work on basic felting techniques and experiment with surface fibres. Next, you’ll “paint” with wool fibre to create a felt landscape – the main project. We’ll follow a basic project design, although you may choose to be more adventurous if you wish. Fay will bring along some examples of other completed works and talk about additional techniques that you may want to try on your own such as stitching and beading.

No experience is necessary. Maximum of 12 adult registrations.

$95 fee includes the materials and tools you will need. Registrants will receive a list of some other household items to bring.

This event is sold out – to register for the waitlist call (403) 949-4277 or email program@braggcreekca.com
